LOST Time

My brothers first got me into it, you know.
They were hooked.
I was reluctant, but I figured... How bad it could it be?
I got my first fix for two bucks.
After five minutes, I knew I'd never give it up.
I downloaded the rest of the episodes that day.

We get new clues with every episode shown
That's why Wednesday nights, I'm on my couch alone
I turn out my lights & I turn off my phone
I turn on ABC, now I'm in my zone
If it was up to me, I'd be on 815
Oceanic, on that island, trying to survive
And we would live together or we would die alone
I'd give whatever I could to call that island my home
And when the Others arrived, I'd be prepared to get violent
And if they threatened my life, yo, I swear I'd keep silent
And right as Mr. Friendly raised a gun to my head
The show would flash back to me as a kid
Up in 9th grade, reading Lord of the Flies,
Jurassic Park, or a Wrinkle in Time
When they cut back to the action, I'd create a distracttion,
In a flash, I'd just bash Mikael's patch with a hatchet

With no more new episodes for a few months or so
We all just try to make up for LOST time
But even off season, we pop old DVDs in
Hit rewind and we see what we find
And if Charlie's death was the start of the end,
Man, I cried when he died like he was one of my friends
and if always in answers we find questions again
LOST is an obsession only fans comprehend

All true fans know it might come back to Apollo
Not the candy bar, the greek god, do you follow?
If you don't, go click the LOSTpedia,
a wiki thick with nerdcore theories & media
I'm often distraught, I caught the full LOST addiction
what's the cost of these talks, spent exhausting predictions?
We chomp on goldfish and pretend they're fish biscuits
While debating the significance of bunker hieroglyphics
and we wonder if DHARMA was ever really scientific
Cause flashbacks imply Karma but they never get specific
We ponder the consequence of the monster from the first night
Uprooting bamboo & spooking dudes at the crash site
If I got my facts right, Richard Alpert has four toes
He's one of the hostiles, the islands originals
Which prolly explains why he never ages or grows
And this will stay on my brain until the truth is exposed

LOST is an obsession only fans comprehend

It's been three seasons and we're all still waiting
For answers to come so we can stop debating
And if we don't get any answers, make no mistakes
We won't hate the show, although our hearts will break
So if the dead could rise to help 'em find the cave
and if Walt saved Locke's life in the old mass grave
If you replay and pause and see Jacob's face
And if Desmond could survive the Swan's fail safe
Then only fools are slaves to time and space
And the truth is, what Jacks says might be the case
He & Kate should stay. They should not escape
So are you a fan of science or a fan of faith?
Now let me say until the night in 2k10
When the best show in prime time's days will end
We'll be left with clues and easter eggs
to try to make some sense of this intense island.

The song goes out to the ones we lost along the way
Libby, and Echo. God bless.
Paolo, Nicki, Ana Lucia - Be easy.
Shannon, Boon, and we could never forget our hero
Charlie Pace
Rest in Peace, ya'll. We love you. And we lost without you.
But yo, we'll see you in another life

You all everybody
You all everybody
Is acting like the stupid people, wearing expensive clothes. x2
